Human resources development is one of the priorities of China-Africa cooperation.

Up to now, China has received over 15,000 African students to study in China and sent over 500 Chinese teachers to African countries. Intercollegiate exchange and cooperative relations have been established between 27 African universities and their Chinese counterparts.

China has concluded over 10 inter-governmental agreements on scientific and technological cooperation with African countries and has cooperated with Africa on many research projects in such areas as agricultural, medical, biological and photoelectric technologies.

Over the years, China has provided annually more than 1,500 scholarships for African countries and organized seminars and training courses in diversified forms in China and Africa, training over 1,000 professionals for Africa.

With our joint efforts, China-Africa human resources development and cooperation is getting more diversified in form and more fruitful in result.
