BEIJING, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Togolese President Faure
Gnassingbearrived here Thursday evening for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on
China-Africa Cooperation slated for Nov. 4-5.
China and Togo established diplomatic ties in
September 1972. Bilateral trade totaled 570 million U.S. dollars in 2005.
Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong visited Togo in
2004 and Faure Gnassingbe paid his first visit to China as Togolese president in
February this year.
