Mauritian PM arrives for China-Africa summit
Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam
arrived in Beijing on Friday for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on
China-Africa Cooperation slated for Nov. 4-5.
China and Mauritius established diplomatic relations on April 15, 1972. Li
Ruihuan, then chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's
Political Consultative Conference, visited Mauritius in 2001. Berenger, the
former prime minister of Mauritius, visited China in 2005.
Mauritius is one of China's outbound travel destinations. Bilateral trade
reached 186 million U.S. dollars in 2005.

Lesotho Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili arrived in Beijing on
Friday for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation slated
for Nov. 4-5.
China and Lesotho restored diplomatic relations on Jan. 12, 1994 and
bilateral trade topped 56.15 million U.S. dollars in 2005.
Mosisili visited China in 2001 and 2005.

Cape Verde's Prime Minister Jose Maria Neves arrived in
Beijing Friday for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa
Cooperation.
A total of 48 African countries that have diplomatic relations with China are
to participate in the two-day summit, which is scheduled to start on Nov. 4.
China and Cape Verde forged diplomatic relations on April 25, 1976, and
bilateral trade totaled 5.19 million U.S. dollars in 2005.
